This part always got me so confused. I know that God told them to not eat from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. So, how do they know that disobeying God is an evil act without the knowledge of Good and Evil?
Why is it so wrong to have the knowledge of Good and Evil? My problem is that "knowledge" was considered a sin. Even today, the Fundamentalist Christians believe "knowledge" is not important and not a good thing. However, "knowledge" helps us survive and prosper.
When I was Christian, I believed that God gave us a mind as a gift, and we should use our minds to it's full potential. I didn't realized that Christians didn't really believe this point of view. When I figured out what Christians believed, I was quite upset about this.
I don't think that Adam or Eve did anything wrong because they didn't have the knowledge of Good and Evil. I don't understand why Christians single out Eve. Yes, Eve convinced Adam to take a bite out of the forbidden fruit. In my opinion they nothing wrong because they didn't have the knowledge of Good and Evil. Also, Adam and Eve have a relationship together. Of course, they are going to share things. There's nothing abnormal.
